An accomplished artist Baird produces work that is conceptual in nature while integrating an often complex colour palette. She uses colour as a compositional tool as well as for the love of the colour itself. Although some of her work is whimsical each individual piece is startling in its maturity that comes from a deep understanding of technique and a intuitive interpretation of each subject.
